The link below gives access to a survey that we have compiled so that we can gain your views on how we deliver the new statutory curriculum for Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) in school. This survey will also be shared with all teachers, all students and also with youth support workers that work with young people in the wider community - it is important to us that we get a range of views from all people that this curriculum impacts on either directly or indirectly.
The survey forms part of the consultation process that is also a requirement as set out in the Department for Education's statutory guidance for RSHE.
We are sending this out to parents and carers of students in all year groups as it would be insightful to also gain feedback from parents/carers of students that have completed their PD/RSHE studies.
We will be introducing this to students and encouraging them to complete it using their school email addresses - They will get further information in one of their form time sessions soon but they will need to access and complete the survey in their own time. It is possible that some students will need support at home to complete this survey. We would really appreciate it if you can encourage them to complete it as fully as possible. Any student that we know of who does not have access to internet at home will be offered time in school to complete it using school equipment.
The survey deadline is set for Monday the 7th of June.
Thank you in advance for your feedback - it is greatly appreciated.
